knit Fancy Stitch

Work with a multiple of 16 stitches + 13 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 31 stitches (16 + 13 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, purl all stitches or as given in instructions; purl any yarn-over loops.

The pattern repeat = 16 stitches wide.

Horizontally, begin with 1 edge stitch, work patt repeat throughout, end with 13 stitches after patt and 1 edge stitch.

k: Knit

p: Purl

yo: Yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together as one

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

slip3: slip 3 pwise, leave yarn at back of work. On wrong side row, slip 3 pwise, leave yarn at front of work.

slip wyib3: slip 3 pwise, leave yarn at back of work. On wrong side row, purl.

slip wyif3: slip 3 pwise, leave yarn at front of work.
